What is Youth Service?
Youth Service, also known as New Generations, is Rotary's commitment to empowering young people through leadership development, community service, and global citizenship. Our Interact clubs at Verona and Marisons High Schools are vibrant communities where youth learn, lead, and serve together.

The Culture
Interact clubs organize at least two service projects ... While Interact clubs receive guidance from individual Rotary clubs, they govern and support themselves. And that's what we do at Verona.



Interactors
The purpose of Interact is to provide opportunity for young people to work together in a world fellowship dedicated to service and international understanding.


The Background
The first Interact club was authorized at Melbourne High School, Florida, USA on November 5, 1962.

Youth Service Director
The Rotary club of Mutundwe believes that the Youths are potential future Rotarians. We at the club of Mutundwe have proudly chartered two interact clubs and we are chartering a Rotaract club.

Rotaract Earth Initiative
The Rotaract Earth Initiative (REI) in Uganda, launched in April 2015, aims to plant 10,000,000 (ten million) trees by 2026 to address climate change and environmental degradation.



Our Members
At the Rotaract club of Mutundwe we exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service.



How We Benefit
With the help of our Rotary Club, the rotary club of Mutundwe, we are learning the good values and character that will define us as the best Rotaractors.
Our Interact Clubs
Interact is Rotary International's service club for young people ages 12 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting.
Global Impact
As one of the most significant and fastest-growing programs of Rotary service, with more than 10,700 clubs in 109 countries and geographical areas, Interact has become a worldwide phenomenon. Almost 200,000 young people are involved in Interact.
